Hosting a Drive In Movie is an excellent way for Non Profit organizations to not only raise funds for their organization,  but to also create a great event bringing exposure for your organization as well as a wonderful night in your community. Below is an outline of what we can provide with some specific ideas for Little League Organizations, Humane Society’s & Arts Organizations.

In addition to providing the movie projection equipment we would also provide food prior to the movie, popcorn during the movie, tents, table and chairs so that everyone can relax and have a great time prior to the start of the movie at dark.

The Fund Raising comes in to play by soliciting Sponsors who will contribute $500 which will provide them with 25 tickets to the movie & dinner. With just 10 sponsors your grossing $5000 before any of the production costs. We suggest approaching area businesses by suggesting that they give these tickets to employees, clients, and neighbors. To think of it similar to giving clients tickets to a sporting event. But instead give them tickets to a great event and a great cause.

The companies in your community are already being solicited for contributions to worthwhile organizations; our approach provides them a great family night out as well.

The community could be invited to the free Movie Night, but the Sponsors Tent would provide the food and drinks for those contributing sponsors.

Humane Societies, Consider hosting a Mutts & Movies night. We can provide everything for a great Family Movie with a Dog Theme. Maybe we will show Marmaduke, Beethoven, or any other Dog related Movie.

Invite companies and individuals to attend the Mutts & Movie night, which of course means bring the entire family and the dog for a great night out watching a movie under the stars.

Prior to the start of the movie, hold a pet owner lookalike contest,  a stupid dog trick contest,  working with our professional event staff we will help you have a great night that everyone will look forward to each year.

Invite area pet stores to be part of the night, veterinarians, animal adoption organizations, and any organization that fits in with the theme.

Little League Baseball

Kick off your Little League baseball season with a movie night. Have all the players come out in their uniform and watch The Rookie, The Bad New Bears The Natural or other baseball movie.

Prior to the movie using our public address capabilities allows coaches to introduce their teams.

Players and teams can sell tickets to family and friends for this great way to kick off the baseball season, maybe the conclusion to a great day of games.

Arts Organizations

Maybe your movie takes place at tables with linen table cloths, candlelight, and the Art Type movie of your choice while your guests are served deserts and gourmet coffees.

Golf outings, poker tournaments, raffles and similar events have been in many cases great ways to raise funds, but I believe that this type of event held annually would be one that would have great support from all levels of the community. And unlike a normal donation by an area business, with a Mutts & Movie night they are getting an event that they can really enjoy being part of.

I hope you will consider the idea, and contact me to learn more about the concept.

Sincerely,

Brian Dickens
